[Macau, August 16, 2021] – Grand Lisboa presents Michelin-starred mooncakes from The 8 in celebration of Mid-Autumn. This year, in its ongoing commitment to sustainability, Grand Lisboa has thoughtfully designed mooncake gift boxes that celebrate the traditions of Mid-Autumn, while also embracing the eco-friendly practices of today. Grand Lisboa creatively blends traditional and modern design into the mooncake gift boxes. The gift box can be transformed into a beautiful and multi-purpose carrying case. The four-piece “The 8 Mooncake with Jinhua Ham and Assorted Nuts” will be packed in an elegant and long-lasting Grand Lisboa carrying case that can be re-used time and again, the perfect gift for family and friends this Mid-Autumn.

Dim Sum Head Chef Yah Wah Fai and his team from the hotel’s Michelin 3-starred Cantonese restaurant – The 8 – will prepare the savoury selections of homemade mooncakes: The 8 Mooncake with Double Egg Yolk and Lotus Seed Paste and The 8 Mooncake with Jinhua Ham and Assorted Nuts. The chefs will also once again prepare its time-honoured collection of sweet mini mooncakes: The 8 Bird’s Nest and Custard Mini Mooncake. Gift vouchers are available for sale at Hotel Lobby Hamper House now, the four-piece The 8 Mooncake with Double Egg Yolk and Lotus Seed Paste and The 8 Mooncake with Jinhua Ham and Assorted Nuts are priced at MOP 498* per box. The six-piece Bird’s Nest and Custard Mini Mooncake are priced at MOP 410* per box.

Deluxe Mid-Autumn Hampers

The “Grand Lisboa Festive Deluxe Hamper” is filled with the most premium of delicacies and homemade classics from The 8. This year’s hamper features The 8 Mooncake with Double Egg Yolk and Lotus Seed Paste (4 pieces); The 8 premium X.O. mushroom sauce, The 8 home-made black pepper cashew nuts, abalone, fish maw, sea cucumber, French champagne and more for MOP 3,386*.

The mooncake gift box and the hampers may be collected at the Lobby Hamper House or Round-The-Clock Coffee Shop between 1 and 21 September, 2021.
